Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a licence to charter a yacht on the French Riviera?+
No. All Navélia charters come with a professional captain and crew, so no boating licence is required. You simply relax and enjoy the voyage.
What is the best time of year to charter a yacht in the South of France?+
The charter season runs from May to October. July and August offer the warmest weather but are busiest. June and September provide excellent conditions with fewer crowds and better availability.
How far in advance should I book a yacht charter?+
For peak season (July–August), we recommend booking 3–6 months ahead. For shoulder season or last-minute availability, 2–4 weeks is often sufficient.
What should I bring on a yacht charter?+
Light clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, and flat-soled shoes. For evening dining ashore, smart-casual attire. Your crew provides towels, snorkelling gear, and water toys.
